About the role
As Head Chef you will deliver an exciting menu and high quality food consistent with the offering at The Hills. You will be responsible to operate within prescribed food safety standards and the financial framework as set by the Directors.
You will work autonomously to maintain high standards across all aspects of kitchen operations including the daily set up and pack down of the kitchen, service, food preparation, storage and handling, a regular schedule for cleaning, and ensuring briefings, menu notes and daily admin is completed to support the broader operation of the venue. You will deliver of an exceptional guest experience and provide genuine hospitality with all interactions.
You will lead your back of house team by example, and inspire and foster a positive workplace culture through the sharing of knowledge, feedback and a strong emphasis on their development.
Lastly, you will work closely with the Venue Management team to deliver a profitable venue, achieve set targets and drive a focus on continuous improvement across all aspects of our operations.
